That you where only a dog.

They would say you where much more.

I could see so much in your eyes.

I could see your feelings,

Your love for all your family.

Rarely mad with a large heart.

I always enjoyed your company.

Always at my side, no matter what.

Your persistance when you wanted to play.

The way you would tell me when dinner time came.

You always listened to me.

You where there during the good and bad.

My sunshine on a rainy day.

My beacon of hope in the dark.

Words could never say what you mean to me.

You where larger than life,

more than words could say.

I am so lucky to have had you in my life.

I miss you my friend,

my heart it bleeds.

I will see you again some day.

One day I will come walking in,

and I can't wait to see you greeting me again.
